LEWISTON — Doris Theresa Frenette, 78, of Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at her home with her loving family at her side.

She was born Nov. 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Ducharme. She lived her entire life in the Lewiston area, attending local catholic schools.

She took pride in being a mother of four children while being a fulltime mill worker. She was a life-long parishioner of Saints Peter and Paul parish, n/k/a Prince of Peace parish, and loved going to church. She was a true believer in giving, rather than receiving, and no matter what she never complained; if you asked she was always “okay,” “happy,” and “good.”

She enjoyed playing cards and beano, swimming, bowling, spending time with her siblings, children, 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren anywhere and everywhere. She took great pride in making her home the family gathering place.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Ann Fenlon and her husband, William, of North Carolina, and their children, Renee Caron, Rebecca Caron, Ryan Caron and his wife, Krista, and Amanda Fenlon; Tina Belanger and her husband, Roland, and their children, Nathan, Tyler and Dylan; Andre Frenette and his sons, Andrew and Joel, and his partner, Paula Breton; and Marc Frenette and his wife, Lu Ann, and their children Isabelle, Lucy and Miles; her sister and best friends, Irene Parent and Priscilla Richard; her brothers, Albert Ducharme and his wife, Nancy and Robert Ducharme and his wife, Lorraine; her sister-in-law and good friend, Doris Ducharme; and, many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Victor J. Caron (1968) and then Arthur D. Frenette (1993); her son, Ricky; and 14 siblings.

Family and friends are invited to offer condolences and pay tribute to Doris’ family by visiting her guest book at www.thefortingrouplewiston.com.
