I am concerned about the new smart meters for electricity. After doing some research, I found that some people say the meters can cause people sensitive to radiation to become sick, with symptoms such as headaches, nausea, heart palpitations, etc.

Although we refused to have one installed in our house, our surrounding neighbors have them, which might affect us.

Being penalized a one-time fee of $40 plus an additional $12 per month for refusing to have a smart meter installed is not fair, in my opinion.
