SABATTUS — The 21st Oak Hill CCLC After-School Program will host a Sweetheart Dance (formerly known as the Father/Daughter Dance) on Saturday, Feb. 18, as a fundraiser.
The dance is open to all students, grade eight and under, and a special “sweetheart” in their life, be it a father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle or other.
The dance will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oak Hill Middle School. Admission will be $15 a couple, adding $5 for each additional daughter. Tickets may be purchased by contacting Carman Douglas at 375-6605 or emailing her at [email protected]
Those who register for tickets before Monday, Feb. 6, will be entered into a drawing for the “Princess Package,” which include a limosine ride, up-do for the girls and a special dinner prior to the event. Photo packages will be offered.
The nonprofit program offers before-school care, after-school care, vacation week, workshop days and summer camp care for Sabattus, Litchfield and Wales. The program also accepts students from the surrounding area. The program offers financial aid when funding permits. It sustains itself through user fees.
Dance organizers are in need of help from area businesses. Those interested in donating a basket to raffle at the dance should contact Jocelyn French at [email protected] For more information, call to 375-6605.
