A CPM Constructors crewman cleans off the bottom of a pre-cast retaining wall block Wednesday before it was lowered into place along the upstream side of the new twin box culverts in Bean Brook, over which Swain Road passes in Rumford. Work that began Jan. 9 on the project could soon be completed.
