The Peps, above, are among the acts in the “Diva Goes to the Moon” show, a lighthearted evening of entertainment scheduled for Friday and Saturday, Jan. 27-28, at Moose Alley in Rangeley. Singing in harmony, the four women will perform a medley of songs from the 1950s and 1960s. Also on tap will be skits spoofing the 1950s sitcom hit “The Honeymooners,” featuring the comedic talents of Carolyn Smith and Barney Martin, a member of the Coos Canyon Band and Maine Hysterical Society. On Jan. 27, pianist/keyboardist Jim Austin will play popular 1950-’60s music. Pam Ellis, artistic director of Lakeside Dance Academy, is working on dance numbers for the 7:30 p.m. show filled with unpredictable characters. Tickets, $20, are available at Moose Alley and the Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce, 864-5364. Proceeds from the show will help establish a Diva scholarship for a graduating senior and support the local food pantry.
