Charges

Jan. 23 at 2:43 a.m. — John Messier, 41, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Waldo Street on a charge aggravated domestic violence assault. Messier was unable to post bail, taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in South Paris Superior Court on March 6.

Jan. 23 at 2:25 p.m. — Sharon Fitzmorris, 55, of Mexico was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger in the high school parking lot with passing a stopped school bus. Fitzmorris is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

Jan. 23 at 3:47 p.m. — David Moore, 35, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street on a charge domestic violence assault, criminal threatening and violation conditions of release. Moore who was unable to post bail, was transported to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Court on March 6.

Jan. 23 at 6:05 p.m. — Evelyn Leclerc, 73, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Donald Miller on Hancock Street with operating under the influence. Leclerc is scheduled to appear in court April 3.

Jan. 24 at 2:55 p.m. — Kevin Nasatowicz, 52, of Rumford was charged by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Hancock Street with operating under the influence. Nasatowicz posted $1,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Jan. 25 at 11:15 a.m. — Yves Baribeau, 25, of Bethel was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Andover Road with possession of marijuana. Barbeau is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Jan. 25 at 10:51 p.m. — James Harris, 39, of Mexico was charged by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Lincoln Avenue with operating after suspension. Harris is scheduled to appear in court April3.

Jan. 23 at 3:47 p.m. — William Didonato, 36, of Rumford was arrested by Patrolman Brad Gallant on Falmouth Street on a charge domestic violence assault. Didonato was unable to post bail, taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Jan. 26 at 2:01 p.m. — Derek Dearborn, 23, of Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on York Street on a warrant charging failure to appear for violation conditions of release. Dearborn was unable to post bail and taken to the Oxford County Jail.

Jan. 26 at 4:18 p.m. — Nastasha Tillberg, 23, of Rumford was charged by Cpl. Lawrence Winson on Falmouth Street with operating a motor vehicle with an expired license. Tillberg is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Jan. 27 at 8 a.m. — Gail Downs, 60, of Rumford was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Cumberland Street with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Downs is scheduled to appear in court on March 6.

Jan. 27 at 12:32 p.m. — Bryan Worthley, 38, of Mexico was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on South Rumford Road on a charge of operating after suspension (habitual offender). Worthley posted $700 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on March 6.

Jan. 29 at 4:08 p.m. — Erica Waltman, 23, of Bethel was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Rumford Avenue with operating after suspension. Waltman is scheduled to appear in Oxford County Superior Court on April 13.

Jan. 29 at 5:11 p.m. — Michael Bryer, 33, of Bethel was charged by Patrolman Michael Belanger on Rumford Avenue with violation conditions of release and possession of marijuana. Bryer is scheduled to appear in court on April 3.

Assault

Jan. 26 at 8:30 p.m. — Patrolman Brad Gallant investigated an assault on Cumberland Street. A report has been sent to the district attorney for review.

Jan. 28 at 3:22 a.m. — Cpl. Donald Miller investigated an assault on Cemetery Road. Paperwork is being submitted for an arrest warrant.

Theft

Jan. 24 at 12:25 p.m. — Patrolman Michael Belanger is investigating the theft of $30 in change from a vehicle on Oxford Avenue.

Wanted

Cameron Thibault, 19, of Peru is wanted on a Rumford District Court warrant for failure to appear for domestic violence assault. The warrant is dated Sept. 22, 2011.
