MEXICO — Police responded to 150 incidents from Jan. 1 to Feb. 2. Among the incidents since Jan. 1 were:
Theft
* On Jan. 17 at 6:45 p.m. a Granite Street resident reported someone stole an undisclosed amount of money while the owner was not home. Police have suspects in the case and an arrest is pending.
* On Jan. 19 at 4:41 p.m. a Holman Avenue resident reported someone had taken his Polaris snowmobile during the night. Estimated value of the Polaris is $2,000. The Polaris is black and purple and has been seen in the area.
* On Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. a Rumford woman reported someone had stolen $10,000 from her Oxford Federal Credit Union account in the past two months. Police have suspects in the case and an arrest is pending.
Criminal mischief
* On Jan. 20 a Granite Street resident reported someone cut the break line to his vehicle while it was parked on Main Street.
Arrests
John Bernard, 46, of Mexico, was arrested on a warrant out of Oxford County for violation of conditions of release on Jan. 12 at 9:58 p.m. on Middle Avenue by officer Dan Carrier. Bernard was transported to Oxford County Jail and was denied bail.
