AUBURN — Barbara A. Morgan, 82, of 24 Ventura Street, Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 10, at Clover Manor Health Care Facility, following a long illness.

She was born in Somerville, Mass., on Nov. 3, 1929, the daughter of Edgar J. and Hazel F. (Kinckle) Thomson, and had been a resident of this community since 1965.

She was a homemaker all of her life, having raised seven children.

She was a member of the Queen’s Guild Sodality at St. Joseph’s Church in Lewiston.

Barbara enjoyed spending quality time with all of her grandchildren and staying active in all of their lives.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Morgan, of Lewiston, whom she married on April 19, 1954; four sons, Brian Morgan of Lafayette, Ind., Kevin Morgan and his wife, Patricia of Bedford, N.H., John Morgan and his wife, Kandy of Kansas City, Mo., and James Morgan and his wife, Franca of West Newton, Mass.; three daughters, Karen Eagan and her husband, Kevin of Amherst, N.H., Mary Morgan of Lewiston and Ann Maroon and her husband Ed, of Lewiston; 19 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother, Edgar Thomson Jr.
