Ron Morin and his 5-year-old son, John, get a math lesson from sixth-grade teacher Kristen Arbour during the Farwell Family Night at Farwell Elementary School in Lewiston on Wednesday. Thirty tables staffed by teachers and volunteers from the community offered information on how parents can contribute to their child’s education from home, said Principal Althea Walker. The parent education fair offered tips on reading, study practice, math, technology, good nutrition and there was a book fair.
