World’s Fair supper

HARRISON — The Waterford World’s Fair will have their next public supper on Saturday, Feb. 25, at the United Parish Congregational Church, 77 Main St. (also Route 117). The menu will be Dana’s famous baked stuffed haddock with potato, vegetables, cole slaw, rolls, drink and a slice of homemade pie for $8 for adults and $4 for children under 6 years.

Serving will start at 5 p.m.and continue until 6:30 or all the food is gone. For those that are not fish lovers there will also be macaroni and cheese.

Public supper

OXFORD — Grace Fellowship Church, 29 Poplar St., will hold a public supper at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3. The price is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 12 and under. The menu will consist of stuffed chicken breast, mashed potato with gravy, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce, biscuits, rolls, homemade pies, coffee and punch. MECHANIC FALLS — The Alzheimer’s Association, Maine Chapter, will present a free education program, “Know the 10 Signs,” from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 5, at Bucknam Oaks SeniorCenter, 11 Bucknam St.

This family education program aims to increase awareness of the warning signs of Alzheimer’s and outlines the benefits of early detection and early diagnosis.
