DIXFIELD — Marion Hebert, 77, of Dixfield, went home to be with the Lord on Feb. 24.

She was born in Carthage, Sept. 17 1934, a daughter of the late Alward and Ruth Daley. She attended Dixfield schools.

On Sept. 15, 1951, she married her husband of 51 years, Dewey “Tom” Brown of Dixfield, who passed away on July 19, 2003. She remarried on Aug. 18, 2006 to Oscar Hebert, who survives of Dixfield.

Marion was a member of the Dixfield Congregational Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 100, Dixfield. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and grandmother, who truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She had a passion for gardening, fishing, hunting and knitting gifts for her family. She loved staying busy and looked forward to being “on the go.” Marion was a very special lady, who left an angelic impression on all who knew her, she will be dearly missed.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her seven children, Robert Brown and his wife, Judy, of Dixfield, Joann Wardwell of Jay, Ruth White and her husband, Chester, of Rumford, John Brown and his wife, Shirley, of Dixfield, Larry Brown of Dixfield, Laura Pingree and her husband, Tim, of Mexico and Jeff Brown and his wife, Marry, of Jay; she was also blessed with three stepchildren, Tim Hebert and his wife, Kim, of Rhode Island, Lucinda Ryder of Livermore and Tom Hebert of Livermore; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Hugh Daley and his wife, Vawn, of Dixfield, Elwin Daley and his wife, Genie, of Alexander and Edward Daley and his wife, Katie, of Dixfield; and sisters, Emily Houghton and her husband, Kermit, of Dixfield and Alice Kinney of Greenville.

She was predeceased by her parents; siblings; husband, Dewey Brown; an infant son; and son-in-law, Kevin Bellegarde.
