DIXFIELD — Two more people have been summoned to court for passing stopped school buses, something that appears to be rising in the area, according to the Dixfield Police Department.

* Milan Bickford, 18, Buckfield, received a summons at 8:41 a.m., Feb. 9, for passing a stopped school bus on Weld Street. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 3.

* Joshua Lambert, 24, Chesterville, received a summons at 8:20 a.m., Feb. 13, for passing a stopped school bus on Main Street. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 8.

Arrest

* Matthew Dyke, 35, Peru, on charges of attaching false license plates, failure to register a vehicle over 150 days, and violation of conditions of release. He is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on May 8.

Accidents

* A vehicle driven by Katie S. Drouin, 22, of Mexico, rolled over at 8:48 p.m., Feb. 27, as she driving west on Route 2. Her vehicle crossed the centerline, hit a guardrail and overturned. She was unhurt. Her 1998 Ford SUV was destroyed.

* A vehicle driven by Candy White, 38, Carthage, struck a deer at 5:35 p.m., Feb. 16, as she was driving north on Weld Street. The deer was killed. White’s 2003 Chevrolet SUV sustained $2,500 damage.
