WORCESTER, Mass. — Nine area residents are among 1,151 students from Worcester Polytechnic Institute named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the fall 2011 semester. They are:
Cory Cormier of Auburn, a senior majoring in civil and environmental engineering; Luis Pernia-Rovayo of Auburn, a freshman majoring in engineering; Neil Pomerleau of Auburn, a junior majoring in aerospace engineering. Olivia Doane of Durham, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering.
Also, Michael Chin of Lewiston, a freshman majoring in chemical engineering; Elliott Wiegman of Leeds, a freshman majoring in biomedical engineering; Codie Keene of Poland, a senior majoring in civil and environmental engineering; Matthew Paladino of Turner, a senior majoring in civil and environmental engineering; and Emily Johnson of Gray, a junior majoring in biochemistry.
