FARMINGTON — Palmer Realty, 380 Wilton Road, announces that Chris Begin recently became an associate broker after completing two years as a sales agent.

He passed his associate broker designation in January 2012, and is available to assist buyers in locating property and sellers to list and sell their real estate.

Begin joined Palmer Realty after working for eight years as senior business development manager for the nation’s largest competitive electricity supplier, serving large industrial customers across the U.S. Prior to that, for 16 years, he provided his services to clients in the Central Maine Power service territory as a senior energy adviser.

He is a licensed residential energy auditor by the state of Maine, and is a certified energy manager and certified energy buyer by the Association of Energy Engineers. He also works as a Master Maine Guide for fishermen seeking to pursue Maine’s cold-water game fish in the northern part of the state, a passion he has enjoyed since 1984.
