LIVERMORE FALLS — RSU 73 directors voted Thursday to spend $36,379.81 in reserve accounts.
A special education reserve is a close-out from the consolidation process, Superintendent Robert Wall said.
All hold-over reserves must be closed out before June 30, 2012, he said.
The funds will support tuition of students that are currently placed, he said.
Two other reserves — $708 in a long-term reserve and $8,441.81 in a short-term reserve, also consolidation close-outs, were raised to support capital improvement of buildings.
They will be used to defray architect fees for the addition/renovation project at the Spruce Mountain High School North Campus in Jay, Wall said.
