NEW GLOUCESTER — Three men injured in a car crash Sunday morning in New Gloucester were taken to Central Maine Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

WMTW Channel 8 reported Sunday evening that the men, all from New Gloucester, were hurt in a 9:15 a.m. crash on Gloucester Hill Road near Opportunity Farm after the vehicle they were riding in went off the road and hit a culvert.

One of the men had to be extricated from the car. The driver told police he was temporarily blinded by the sun, and authorities do not believe speed or alcohol to be factors in the crash.

The road was closed for about 45 minutes.
