I write this in response to Rayne Poussard’s comments in “Views from online readers,” March 13.

I wish Poussard could have been present at the Senior College Food For Thought program on March 9 when Joshua Shea, editor of the Lewiston Auburn Magazine, was the speaker. Shea was so enthusiastic about all that is going on in Lewiston and Auburn. He held our attention through the whole hour.

From my experience, the Twin Cities together have come a long way in the past 10 years, bringing new businesses, new arts and music programs, and Museum L-A, with its very active youth programs. Both libraries have new additions with many programs to interest the young and old.

Those are only a few of the many wonderful things that are going on in the two communities. There are so many positive things happening and many more that are in the works.

I lived in Auburn for 50 years. Now I live in Poland but still have the interest in what is going on in Lewiston and Auburn and attend many of the events there.
