Thanks to a $300 grant provided by Friendly’s Ice Cream of Brunswick, students at Lisbon Community School will have a literacy collection of books making connections in the library with the Every Day Math program. Christine McLain, general manager of Friendly’s in Brunswick, and Stefanie Decker, High 5 Ambassador, presented the grant check to principal Carlene Iverson and assistant principal Ryan Patrie. Top student readers were also in attendance with district librarian Katy Dodge, library assistant Victoria Worden, grant writer Monica Millhime and school committee member Kathi Yergin.
