Sunday sermon
PARIS — “Like Me on Facebook???” is the title of Sharon Bouchard’s sermon for Sunday, March 25, at the First Universalist Church on Pine Street. The 10 a.m. service will include music under the direction of Joyce Franklin.
Sunday school is under the direction of Renee Wales. Coffee and fellowship will follow the service and all are welcome. Childcare is available.
FD benefit dinner
GREENWOOD — A benefit dinner for the Greenwood and Woodstock fire departments will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at American Legion Post 68.
There will be a 50/50 raffle and other giveaways. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12. Proceeds will be split between the two fire departments to help fund the first responder class beginning Saturday, March 24.
For more information on how the first responder enhances the fire departments, ambulance service and community, contact the fire departments, town office or PACE.

SUMNER — Pastor Howard MacMullen invites neighbors of the Congregational Church of East Sumner to join in the upcoming activities:
Senior lunch and bingo, noon third Wednesday; knitting group, 3 to 5 p.m. third Wednesday; Bible study, 6:30 p.m. Sunday; food bank for Sumner residents, 9 a.m. to noon first and third Monday.
Easter services: 9 a.m. Sunday, April 1, Palm Sunday service with palm branches and choir; 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, Maundy Thursday service; noon to 6 p.m. Friday, April 6, Good Friday vigil, service at 6:30; 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 7, annual Easter Egg Hunt in the church yard, sponsored by the Sumner Mother’s Club; 7 a.m. Sunday, April 8, Easter sunrise service followed by breakfast; 9 a.m., regular service with church choir.
