GAHANNA, Ohio — Jane B. Demers, 76, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 21.

She was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Castine, to the late Paul and Elizabeth Brown. She received her bachelor’s degree in education from Boston University. She had many interests in life; including reading, watching movies and contributing to numerous charities. She was a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother.

Jane was also a lifelong animal lover, especially her two dogs, Spike and Lady. She was a caring and giving woman, devoted to her family and always put them first. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Susan (Greg) LeBerth, Keith (Marion) Demers, and John Demers; grandchildren, Leigha (Heath), Morgan, Alexa, Jake, Samantha, Nicole, Sydney, Stephanie, Laura, Michael, Johnathan, Caroline, Isabelle, and Anna.

Jane was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Raymond; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Demers Butts; and granddaughter, Andrea.
