TURNER — The Leavitt Area High School Project Graduation Committee is hosting a SendOutCards workshop at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the Leavitt cafeteria. Light snacks and beverages will be served. Admission is free.

Everyone in the area is invited, but especially seniors and their parents who will learn more about creating personalized graduation announcements, party invitations and thank-you cards.

Participants will be able to choose from premade cards, which they can personalize with pictures and messages, or create their own cards. They are done online, without having to pick up a pen or leave home or office. A real greeting card is mailed.

Although the workshop is centered around graduation, SendOutCards has cards for every occasion, and also offers the option to send a variety of gift cards and a large assortment of gifts, as well.

LAHS Project Grad will receive a commission as new participants sign up under their account, providing ongoing funds for future Leavitt Project Grad events.  It could reduce the amount of solicitation and fundraising projects in years to come.

There will be a presentation, samples of SendOutCards products, a demonstration of the creative process and time for questions and answers.  Those who have a laptop with wifi are invited to bring it, as there will be an opportunity to create a personalized card under the guidance of experienced users, some of whom are family members of Leavitt seniors.
