NEW GLOUCESTER — There was no public comment Tuesday night on a zoning ordinance amendment, so the Planning Board will notify selectmen, who are expected to add it to the annual town meeting warrant.
Under the current ordinance, if the determination of use for a building permit triggers site plan review by the Planning Board, the code enforcement officer’s decision can only be appealed to Superior Court.
Under the proposed revision, the decision would be appealed to the local Board of Appeals.
Selectmen are expected to sign the warrant for May 5 annual town meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Community Building behind the Town Hall.
