Trikes for Tykes

AUBURN — The third annual Trikes for Tykes Festival indoor tricycle riding, plus face painting, scavenger hunt, silent auction and crafts, will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 31, at the East Auburn Community School gym. Call SHAREcenter at 333-6671 for more information.

Fortier Chapter

LEWISTON — The Dr. Paul J. Fortier Council 52, Royal Arcanum-ACA Division, will gather at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 2, in the seniors room at the Multi-Purpose Center. A social hour with refreshments will follow the meeting.

Learn to hunt ghosts

TURNER — Ghosthunting 101 will be offered by SAD 52 Adult and Community Education.

Participants will learn the basics of ghosthunting while receiving in-field training from experienced paranormal investigators, Central Maine Paranormal Investigations.

Course fee is $50 and the course guide fee of $10 is to be paid to the instructors. Classes will be held at 6 p.m. Mondays, April 2 to June 4.

CMPI was officially formed on June 6, 2006. The team was founded by Stacey Farrington, Lori Black, James Wetherall and October Knerr. The four had been investigators of a former Maine team and when the team suddenly disbanded, they decided to continue their journey of investigating the world of the paranormal.

LEWISTON — The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners of the quarterly club championship at the Multi-Purpose Center on March 26 were as follows: first, Dick Allen and Pete Cummings; second, Jeanine Kivus and David Lock; third, Les Buzzell and Paul Sherman.

The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club winners of the quarterly club championship on March 27 were: first, Roger Labbe and Rick Verrill; second, Anna Vitiello and Kay Bagwell; third, Patricia Garcia and David Lock.
