Learn to hunt ghosts
TURNER — Ghosthunting 101 will be offered by SAD 52 Adult and Community Education.
Participants will learn the basics of ghosthunting while receiving in-field training from experienced paranormal investigators, Central Maine Paranormal Investigations.
Course fee is $50 and the course guide fee of $10 is to be paid to the instructors. Classes will be held at 6 p.m. Mondays, April 2 to June 4.
CMPI was officially formed on June 6, 2006. The team was founded by Stacey Farrington, Lori Black, James Wetherall and October Knerr. The four had been investigators of a former Maine team and when the team suddenly disbanded, they decided to continue their journey of investigating the world of the paranormal.

Easter beano
WILTON — The Hosmer Edwards Post, American Legion, Auxiliary will hold an
Easter beano on Tuesday, April 3, at the post. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the game will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.
There will be sandwiches, soda, desserts, water and coffee for sale. The prices for the games is 50 cents for four cards and a payout of $8 a single winner.
Easter raffle
LIVERMORE FALLS — The Friends Together Peer Support and Recovery Center is holding a raffle on an Easter basket containing a ham and on other theme baskets. Tickets may be purchased from members or at the center.
The fundraiser will help with activities for the nonprofit group serving adults with mental illness and other life challenges.
After many years at 70 Main St., Jay, the center has moved to a larger space at 31 Park St.
The official open house is planned for Friday, May 4, but all are welcome to visit anytime.
The annual yard sale will be held on Saturday and Sunday, June 2 and 3, weather permitting. The center is always looking for people to serve on the board. For more information, call 897-1010 or visit

FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will hold an Easter bake sale from 7:30 a.m. until items are gone on Friday, April 6, at the hospital.
