Local author Lew-Ellyn Hughes recently published her second book, “Diamonds from the Corner.” The collection of essays about rural life in Maine is a companion volume to Hughes’ “A View from the Corner.”
The author is an award-winning columnist, writer and owner of Diamond Corner Bed and Breakfast. Her column, “Away with Words,” has won several Maine Press Association awards, including first place in the local weekly column category of the MPA’s Better Newspaper Contest.
