LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Lions Club is holding various community fundraising events to benefit the scholarship fund.

On Friday, April 13, Lion Dr. Patrick Keiran of Keiran Chiropractic will donate services for the new Lions Club Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will assist a Spruce Mountain High School Student going onto college.

Everyone, of all ages, is welcome that day to obtain a computerized nerve scan for a suggested $25 donation. Current practice members are invited to come in for a regular appointment at a suggested donation of $10.

As the first chiropractor in Maine to offer Koren Specific Technique, Keiran easily discovers where nervous system messages are interrupted or garbled. Using an adjusting instrument called an ArthroStim, he then corrects and/or reconnects the communication in the body. Chiropractic care soothes the effects of stress by balancing the nerve system.

The office is at 259 Main St. in Jay. Participants are encouraged to schedule and avoid long wait times. For more information or to schedule call 897-2332 or visit KeiranChiro.com.

The club is currently selling tickets for a cash raffle with a $250 first prize. The drawing will be held on History Night, May 25.

Other fundraising includes bright blue bottle donation bins at the Flower Barn and Jay Rent-a-tool storefront and also Inn Town Redemption Center on Main Street, Livermore Falls.
