RUMFORD — Robert “Bob” Bouchard, 68, loving husband, father and grandfather, was taken by the Angels on April 2.
He was born in Rumford, April 12, 1943, to Priscilla (Putty) Blaisdell and Alfred Bouchard. For 47 years, he was a very loving partner to his wife, Theresa Sylvester (Terry), who deeply misses him.
Bob was beginning to enjoy retirement; time for him, them and family. Bob was a welder for the Cianbro Corp. for 25 years and was looked up to by many for his reputation as a hard, dedicated worker. He had recently retired in 2011.
His passions in life were music, welding and working around the house with Terry. In addition, he was willing to help others, especially his mother, sisters and friends.
Bob will be welcomed “Home” by his father, Alfred; younger sister, Carol Grassi; and brother, David Bouchard.
He is survived by his wife, Terry; son, Patrick and wife, Krissy; two grandsons, Alec and Nick; his mother; four sisters, Penny McDonald and Debra, Cindy and Pam Blaisdell; many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly; and a special friend of 52 years, Bob Hamel.
You are invited to share your thoughts, condolences and fond memories with the Bouchard family by visiting their guest book at www.SGThibaultFuneralHome.com.
