AUBURN — Brilliant Smiles Dental Hygiene has been seeing patients in Oxford since 2010 and has opened a new office inside the Auburn Denture Center in the Center Street Plaza.
Patients of all ages are welcome. It accepts most insurance companies. For those who do not have MaineCare or insurance, the current fee for an adult cleaning is $75. VISA, Mastercard, cash and checks are accepted.
In 2008, Maine passed legislation that allows a qualified dental hygienist to provide preventive services outside the traditional dental office setting. No dentist or X-rays means no additional fees beyond the cleaning.
Patients are encouraged to maintain relationships with their current dentists for periodic evaluations, X-rays, and restorative work, as needed. For those patients who do not already have a dentist, referral options can be provided.
