Lawrence, the eagle who resides at the Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, will pay a visit to the Ricker Library in Poland on Sunday, April 15. He and his handler, Pam Richardson, will be there to share information about the park and its residents and about the park’s mission of education about wildlife and natural habitats. They will be featured at the monthly Person to Person Potluck/Program sponsored by Friends of Ricker Library. The Friends also sponsor a family pass to the Wildlife Park for patrons of the library. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a potluck supper, followed by the program. Everyone is invited. Guests are asked to bring a casserole, salad or dessert to share.
