New York Funk Exchange, a high-energy band combining the roots of funk, soul, R&B and jazz, will perform Saturday, April 14, at Lewiston’s Franco-American Heritage Center. Hailing from Brooklyn, N.Y., the band formed in 2007 is made up of vocalist Serena Fortier, Ray Holman on drums and vocals, bass guitarist Matt Fox, Jamey Zebrack on keys and vocals, guitarist Matty G, trombonist Mozard Pierre-Jacques, saxophonist Mike Farrell and trumpeter Nick Martino.
