AUGUSTA — The Friends of the Maine State Museum will sponsor a fundraising event, “Celebrate Spring” from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Governor Hill Mansion, 136 State St. The event will feature a fashion show by Earthbound of Waterville and Hallowell, a silent auction, hearty hors d’ouevres by the Liberal Cup and a cash bar. The cost per person is $35.

The proceeds from the event will assist the Friends in benefiting the Maine State Museum by managing its membership program, sponsoring educational programs and hosting special events.
