WILTON — Conrad P. Magrath, 79, a lifelong resident of the Magrath Road in Wilton, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 14, at his home.
He was born Nov. 4, 1932, in East Dixfield, a son of Phillip and Katie (Martin) Magrath. Conrad worked at G.H. Bass, Redi-Mix, Cianbro and retired from Dragon Concrete plant as a batch plant manager.
Conrad always enjoyed a great meal with his family and friends. A real “Mr. Fix It,” you could always find him working on somebody’s vehicle who was in need of a helping hand. In his younger years, he enjoyed snowmobiling and going up country to camp with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene (Richards) Magrath of Wilton, whom he married on June 2, 1957; two sons, Ronald Magrath and his wife, Lisa, of Jay and Alan Magrath and his wife, Monica, of Wilton; four grandchildren, Matthew Magrath, Monica Rollins, Amanda Magrath and Alex Magrath; one great-granddaughter, Justice Magrath; and siblings, Sherrill Rollins, Engle Magrath and Rosita Munson.
He was predeceased by his parents.
