PORTLAND — Rosaire C. Galarneau, 92, of 158 Russell St., Lewiston, formerly of Meadowview Apartments, passed away Thursday, April 5, at Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston, Nov. 21, 1919, son of the late Alfred and Marie Louise Leblond Galarneau. He was educated in Lewiston schools and was married to Doris Leblond, who predeceased him Jan. 28, 1998. In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Marcel Leclair of Lewiston; a grandson, Michael Leclair of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Anita Leclair in 2005; a sister, Georgette Gagne; and a brother, Roger Galarneau.

His family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Russell Park Manor for their love and compassion given to Rosaire during his four years there.
