LEWISTON — Jennifer Lobb of Mechanics Savings Bank has been promoted to banking center manager at the Lewiston branch.

She will oversee all personal and business deposit and loan relationships at the Main Street location.

Lobb joined the bank in 2008 and most recently held the position of banking center operations manager and customer service representative. Previously, she was a customer service representative at Auburn Savings Bank for six years. She began her banking career as a teller at Fleet Bank in Portland.

Lobb is actively involved with Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce and Central Maine Medical Associates. Every year she participates in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and the American Heart Association’s Annual Heart Walk. She serves on the annual Golf Drop Committee for the Arbor House and volunteers at Central Maine Medical Center’s Annual Spring Gala.

Lobb attended Andover College and is a 1993 graduate of Mountain Valley High School in Rumford. She lives in Auburn with her husband and daughter.
