LIVERMORE FALLS — A Jay man was arrested late Tuesday night after the car he was driving went off Route 17 and struck a pole.
Joseph Marinez, 65, was charged with operating under the influence, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said Wednesday.
He said Marinez’ car went off the road at about 11:30 p.m. in the area of 93 Fayette Road, also known as Route 17. Marinez was not injured.
The 1992 Saab had front-end damage and was towed from the site.
