Alice in Wonderland, her mother; The Mad Hatter, White Rabbit and the Queen of Hearts will be in attendance at the Woman’s Literary Union’s Mother-Daughter-Doll “Wonderland Tea,” to be held Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6 at the union’s clubhouse, 19 Elm St., Auburn. This fundraiser invites girls of all ages to enjoy a piece of Auburn’s history by attending a tea with their moms, grandmothers, sisters, aunts or friends, at the former home of Horatio and Ella Foss.

 There will be three sessions on Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.; and two sessions on Sunday, 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations are required and seats are still available in some of the five sessions. As well as story time in “Wonderland,” guests will be served refreshments of homemade sweets, tea and punch, and will be able to shop in the Doll Boutique for clothes for their favorite doll. There will also be a raffle for “Marie-Grace,” the new American Girl doll of 1853.
