NORWAY —  Kenneth L. Reed of Norway, died peacefully at Norway Rehabilitation Center late Tuesday night, after a long illness.

He was born on March 30, 1934, in Greene, the son of Norman Reed and Myra Robbins. He attended schools in Greene. He served his country in the Army, Navy and Marine Corp. He worked in the Norway Shoe Shop for many years.

Kenneth will always be remembered as a guy nobody could ever forget. He loved to joke and loved to live life to the fullest.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Reed of Norway; daughter, Edna Reed of Norway; grandson, Ernie Roy of Norway; brothers, Walter Reed of Oxford, Milton Reed of Bangor and half brother, Donald Robbins of Auburn.

He is predeceased by brother, Earlon Reed of Auburn; and Almyra Thyng of Norway.
