LIVERMORE FALLS — The deadline looms for submission of nomination papers for candidates in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls. Elections will take place in the three towns on Tuesday, June 12.

In Livermore Falls, as of Wednesday papers have been returned by Selectman Louise Chabot for a three-year position and Selectman Kenneth Pelletier for a two-year position on the board.

RSU 73 Director Jackie Knight has returned papers for a three-year position on the board. No one has taken out papers for a second, three-year director’s position.

Livermore Falls’ deadline to return papers is 4 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Town Office.

In Jay, nomination papers are due by 4 p.m. Monday, April 30, at the Town Office.

So far, Pearl Cook has returned papers for a three-year Board of Selectmen position currently held by Amy Pineau. No one has returned papers for a second, three-year position on the board currently held by Steve McCourt.

RSU 73 Director Darcie Comstock has returned nomination papers for a three-year term on the school board. As of Wednesday morning no one has returned papers for a second, three-year position on the board. The position is currently held by Michael Morrell.

In Livermore, the deadline to submit nomination papers is 4 p.m. Friday, April 27, at the Town Office.

Returning papers as of Wednesday morning was Town Clerk Renda Libby, who is running for another two-year term.

Treasurer Kurt Schaub has also returned papers for another two-year term as treasurer.

Three residents have returned papers for a three-year term on the Board of Selectpersons currently held by Chairwoman Grace Jacques. Megan Dion, Jacques and Rodney Newman have returned papers for that selectperson position.

Three residents have also returned papers for a two-year term on the select board, currently held by Brenda Merrill. Dennis Lee and Merrill are seeking that term.

RSU 73 Director Tim Madden has returned papers for a three-year term on the school board.
