When North Korea’s recent attempt to launch a rocket failed, it was not a time for cheering. Absolutely not. Instead, we should all pray that any future decisions by North Korea to test any type of weaponry that could destroy the world would also lead to failure.

Perhaps other countries with nuclear capabilities, or those countries considering expanding their programs, should mark calendars noting the blessing in disguise that was North Korea’s failure.

It was very embarrassing for North Korea to fail. Cheering that failure will encourage North Korean leaders to expand the nation’s nuclear program. That could become totally devastating to humanity and the world.

Let us all pray instead.
