LEWISTON — Central Maine Hearing Center audiologists will present two hearing health seminars in May. David Jardine and Elizabeth Jardine, who each hold doctorate degrees in audiology, will host seminars on Tuesdays, May 8 and May 29. The presentations, which are free and open to the public, are set for 6 p.m. in the Chairmen’s Rooms on the lower level of the 12 High Street Medical Office Building. Refreshments and giveaways will be offered to attendees.

“Improve Your Hearing, Improve Your Life: Advancements In Hearing Technologies” is the topic of the May 8 presentation.

“What’s That Darn Ringing In My Ear? Let’s Talk About Tinnitus” will be the subject of the May 29 presentation.

May is Better Hearing Month; there is a nationwide effort to remind the public that hearing loss prevention, and proper treatment of hearing loss once it occurs, are critical steps to preserving or improving hearing and securing a more fulfilling lifestyle.
