JAY — Two local people face charges of furnishing illegal drugs, including opiates, police Chief Larry White Sr. said Tuesday in a news release.

Jesse Robbins, 31, of Jay was arrested on charges of furnishing of oxycodone, OxyContin, crack cocaine and methadone. He also was summoned on civil violations of unlawful possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, White said.

Kimberley Beardsley, 26, of Jay was arrested on charges of furnishing oxycodone and crack cocaine, White said. She was summoned on civil violations of unlawful possession of a usable amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, he said.

Tristan Ridlon, 27, of Vienna, a third person at the residence at 18 Pleasant Drive in North Jay, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on charges of theft, violation of conditions of release and violation of a protection order, White said.

The arrests came about when police executed a search warrant at the residence at 7:45 p.m. Monday. Detective Richard Caton IV obtained a search warrant after he developed leads last week in regard to subjects trafficking drugs from the residence, White said.

Caton, White and officers Mike Mejia, Nicholas Gulliver and Sgt. Troy Young executed the warrant and seized drugs worth an estimated $1,000 in street value, White said. They also seized crack pipes and other paraphernalia, he said.

Robbins was released from the Franklin County jail on $300 cash bail Tuesday. Beardsley was released on $250 cash bail. Ridlon remained in custody Tuesday morning.
