WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. — Paul E. Field, 82, of Franklin, Tenn., died May 9.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and formerly of Auburn. He attended St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Franklin.

He is survived by sons, Stephen Haskell Field and Andrew Paul Field; daughter, Ruth Field (Rufus) Howe; brother, Richard Wasburn (Mardi) Field; sister, Marni Geilear-Field; and grandchildren, Christopher Paul (Kaitlin Doherty) Howe, Gregory Scott Howe and Mary Kate Field.

He was predeceased by his parents, Paul E.B. and Emma Gertrude Geilear Field; and wife, Lois Haskell Field.
