AUBURN — Hervey J. Jalbert, 90, of Sabattus, died Tuesday, May 15, with his family by his side.
He was born in Canada, Aug. 22, 1921, a son of Joseph and Sadie Rancourt Jalbert. He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Amanda Caron of Sabattus; a son, Normand and wife, Pauline; a daughter, Suzanne and husband, Lee Biron; a son, Raymond and wife, Diane, all of Lewiston; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; six sisters; and three brothers.
He was predeceased by a grandson Jason Jalbert; two sisters; and two brothers.
