SABATTUS — Donald and Susan Caron of Sabattus are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Rose Caron of Sabattus, to John Charles Whippo of Sabattus, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Whippo of Rochester, Pa.

Miss Caron received a master’s degree in counseling psychology at Chatham University in Pittsburgh, Pa. She is currently employed as a family reunification team leader/therapist at Community Health and Counseling Services in East Winthrop.

Mr. Whippo received a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently employed as a teacher at Margaret Murphy Center for Children in Auburn.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. on Sept. 29 at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston.
