LIVERMORE FALLS — The Planning Board will conduct a site walk Wednesday of a proposed Redneck Fun Park off Route 133.

Board members will meet at 6:30 p.m. on May 23 at the Town Office and head to the site, Code Enforcement Officer James Butler Jr. said Tuesday.

The board has scheduled a public hearing on the site plan application for the proposed park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, at the Town Office.

Matthew Weeks of Greene is proposing to put in a mud run park on property currently owned by Martin C. Smith of Bedford, N.H. Weeks said last week that he would buy the property.

The application states that 150 acres of the 221-acre property would be developed when the project is done.

The property is located past Karn Road on Route 133, or Park Street. There is currently a dirt right-of-way on the left between two homes with a Leavitt-Whittemore Realty Group LLC for sale sign marking the entry.

According to Weeks’ application, the project would begin with mud runs. The park would open at 9 a.m. every Friday, Saturday and Sunday with festivities starting at 10 a.m. The runs would go most of the day but not into the night. The project would eventually include food and expanding the area to watch events.

Weeks wrote that he expects to have eight employees to start and around 50 when done. Sewage disposal would be handled by outhouses. Water supply is proposed to be a drilled well with a solar pump.
