We are working on giving pillowcases to not just cancer patients but also to any child who must be hospitalized.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: Do you know any organizations or individuals that could use some unused half-gallon plastic milk jugs with snap-on caps?

They could be used for spring water, crafts, ice or sand blocks, etc. We have 13 bags of 50 available for free.

ANSWER: Sun Spots suspects your phone will be ringing off the hook with calls from owners of Labrador retrievers and other dogs, but if you don’t get rid of them all, your local animal shelter could probably use them.
