LISBON FALLS — On the morning of May 21, Chris Staples began his walk with Jesus in heaven. He was an outstanding young man in many ways. He was the lead runner for his cross country team, the co-captain of the varsity basketball team and an All-Star for Cal Ripkin and Babe Ruth baseball.
He also enjoyed fishing with his brother-in-law, Chuck. More importantly, his love for the Lord was solid and shown in helpful and loving ways. Many a lady in the Lisbon Falls Baptist Church would have a gentle arm under her elbow, a door opened before her and a hug.
Two large U.S. flags are on the wall of his room, symbolizing his commitment to graduate from his school, LFCA, and then join the Marines to serve our country. He recently was employed by the local Aubuchon Hardware, and enjoyed it immensely.
Chris will never be forgotten by those who loved him and we will forever have etched on our minds his dazzling smile that brightened everyone’s day!
He leaves behind his parents, Barbara and Loel Staples; his grandmother, Mrs. Kathleen Watts; his sister, Betty-Ann Tarr and her husband, Bradley, their children, Scott, Sam and Heather, grandchildren, Jonathan and Madison Skye; his brother, Shaun and Leah and their son, Gage; his sister, Danielle Staples-Libby and her husband, Charles Libby Jr.; his brother, Kaleb; his sister, Breanna Staples; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
