RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Peter J. “Pete” Buccina was celebrated Tuesday at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius-St. John Church with the Rev. Alfred Jacques as celebrant. Altar assistant was George Gionet and organist was Mark Belanger. Music selections were “Be Not Afraid,” “The Lord is My Shepherd” and “Fly Like a Bird.” Readings were given by his nephew, Jeff Clawson. Interment was at St. John Cemetery. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Jacques. Bearers were close friends, Linwood Ronan, Mark Newman, Mike Mann, Mike Gallant, Roger Auger and Artie Muse. A reception followed in the parish hall of the church. Arrangements were under the care of the Meader and Son Funeral Home.
