I have known Kevin Raye since he was a student. I have watched him grow to become a highly respected leader as the president of the Maine State Senate. He was nominated by the Republican Party, but he received the votes of every member of the Senate.
Raye is a common sense conservative who knows how to get things done. He worked for Olympia Snowe in Maine and in Washington. As a leader in the Maine Senate, he successfully led efforts to reduce taxes and achieve regulatory reform.
Moreover, he is the one who can replace the current ineffective incumbent.
Maine can do better, and I believe that Kevin Raye will be a congressman who will work effectively for Maine. I support Kevin Raye in the June primary.
