LEWISTON — National Commander-in-Chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Richard L. DeNoyer of Massachusetts announced the appointment of Arthur J. Roy, past “All-American” state commander.
Roy, a Gold Legacy Life Member of Auburn VFW Post 1603 on 588 Minot Ave., will serve on the National VFW General Resolutions Committee. As a member of this committee he will be invited to attend the National Convention in Reno, Nev. from July 21-25, where he will be assigned to a Convention Resolutions Committee. The Commander-in-Chief’s theme this year is “Service with Pride.”
Roy is also serving the Department of Maine, VFW, as State Asst. Membership chairman and Convention Site Selection chairman. Roy lives on Russell Street in Lewiston.
